Enhanced wifi and improved motion detection with Ring Video Doorbell 3

Enhanced features now available on the 1080p HD video doorbell allow users to see, hear, and speak to anyone remotely from their phone, tablet, or PC. This upgraded version of the original Ring Video Doorbell 2 boasts improved motion detection, privacy zones, audio privacy, and dual-band (2.4 or 5.0 GHz) wifi connectivity.

Users can receive mobile notifications when someone presses the doorbell or triggers the built-in motion sensors. The device can be powered by a rechargeable battery pack or connected to doorbell wires for continuous power. Setting up the Ring Video Doorbell 3 is a breeze, simply connect it to wifi via the Ring app and mount it using the provided tools.

With a Ring Protect Plan (subscription sold separately), users can record all their videos, review footage up to 180 days old, and easily share videos and photos. By connecting the Ring doorbell to Alexa, users can receive announcements on their compatible Echo device when the doorbell is pressed, and view a live feed from the camera if they have an Echo device with a screen. Users can also speak to visitors by instructing Alexa to "talk to the front door." Additionally, with a Ring Protect Plan, Alexa can make voice announcements and automatically display live video feed on an Echo Show, Fire TV, or Fire Tablet when the Ring Video Doorbell 3 Plus detects a person.
